TIME OF POWER

“Abel also brought a gift- the best of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The LORD accepted Abel and his gift.”(Gen. 4:4) INDEED, “To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams .”(1 Sam. 15:22)

The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The LORD! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.”(Ex. 34:6) THEREFORE, “You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your GOD, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.”(20:5)

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins .”(Romans 3:23,24) INDEED, “We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved …”(Acts 15:11)
