Rejoice and Don’t Permit the Enemy To Steal Your Joy

Rejoice and Don’t Permit the Enemy To Steal Your Joy

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”(Col. 3:2) AND, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!”(Phil. 4:4)

Things can rob you of your joy. I’ll never forget the time I bought a pair of pens; a red and a black on sale of course. Suddenly, I misplaced the red pen, which I couldn’t find for several days. Imagine! I’d try to study or teach and all I could think was the red pen. Ridiculous? Yes. But don’t you have your own story of how some insignificant “thing” stole your joy? Let me remind you of a better and sure way to have victory and peace in the midst of any situation? Rejoice! The minute you begin rejoicing, your circumstances cease to control you. The command to rejoice in Philippians 4:4 does not mean rejoicing in your circumstances; it means rejoicing in your Saviour who is Lord over every circumstance. Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. (2 Cor. 6:10). Rejoice in the LORD, and be joyful in God your Saviour. (Habakkuk 3:18). Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him. (Ps. 33:1)

CONFESS AS FOLLOWS:
The Spirit of truth abideth in me and teaches me all things, and He guides me into all truths. Therefore I confess I have perfect knowledge of every situation and every circumstance that I come up against. For I have the wisdom of God. (John 16:13; James 1:5)
Praise God!
