God Acceptance Rules

God Acceptance Rules

“Abel also brought a gift- the best of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The LORD accepted Abel and his gift.”(Gen. 4:4) INDEED, “To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams .”(1 Sam. 15:22)

Historically, Cain was a farmer and cultivated the soil. This was what Adam’s job in the Garden of Eden. When Adam tilled the land before the fall, we may intelligently conclude that he brought the produce of the earth and offered it to God. Therefore, giving offering to God predates our generation. The fall now position Cain and others outside the Garden because of sin. Nevertheless, Cain tilled the soil as before, he received the produce as before and he offered it to God as before. God not only refused to accept his offering but also rejected him. What man did before he sinned was acceptable to God, but nothing can be worse in God’s eyes than for man to do former things as though he had not sinned; to pretend as if nothing as changed for worst. Cain was just like this. He continued to offer things to God as though nothing had happened. To commit sin is bad enough for things to go worst, but not to be conscious of it is more serious. Abel, however, believed in reality of change, thus did what is right. He was accepted because he acknowledged that a change had taken place. Abel’s offering admitted that he had sinned and that the shedding of blood was needed to satisfy God. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. (Hebrews 9:22)

CONFESS AS FOLLOWS:
Jesus is the Lord of my life. Sickness and disease have no power over me. I am forgiven and free from SIN AND GUILT. I am dead to sin and alive unto righteousness. (Col. 1:21, 22)
Praise God!
