WHERE WE GET DRESSED
It’s a room inside the master bedroom. It was the place where the king changed his clothes, similar to a modern-day large walk-in closet. Therefore, to expand on the illustration, our “prayer closet” as described in Matthew 6:6 will be a location where we will experience change; We go there to shed the filthy rags of this life and become clothed in His righteousness and spiritual armour. We give up the shield of faith for the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation for the helmet of confusion, and the clothes of fear for the shield of faith. In the end, the path to public success will be paved by the private time we spend with God in our “prayer closet.” That’s it!!!
