One could ask at what point in the life of a fisherman he could get things wrong going fishing? Or, can a fisher go wrong for going fishing? In John 21:3, “I am going fishing:” Some believe that Peter was wrong to go fishing, and that this was a compromised return to a former occupation. Others believe Peter disobeyed no command of Jesus and was simply sensible and pragmatic. Only the disposition of Peter’s heart could determine if he was disobedient for going back to fishing. If there are opportunities to go fishing during challenging times, a minister of the Gospels should be persuaded fully on whether to feel fishing or not! That’s it!!!
