ON “BREVITY OF LIFE AND MARRIAGE”

Someone asked a question recently, what is the shortcut view on the brevity of life and marriage? Scripturally, marriage is God’s institution meant to be honourable. Our discussion on the brevity of life and marriage should be of intentional solution to challenging issues of our generation. For instance, about divorce, our view should not stem from such discourse between Marriage and Divorce. Let us give full regard to God’s mandate to believers about marriage. Nonetheless, as social spaces are changing and become excessively uncertain, evil pressure is on our generation to begin to redefine subjects of spiritual intent and, similarly to social propositions in mitigating the effect of what disobedience sows into daily living as we see things today: divorce and instituted marriage. In summary, this life is engagingly brief for believers to concentrate on matters of no eternal values. On this note, I submit with humility that Christians must divinely honour the institution of Marriage and never ignore the social changes that disobedience is bringing upon our generation. May God have mercy. Amen. That’s it!!!
