Here it is, hungry for God’s Word: “What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.” (1 Corinthians 2:12, NIV). When Christ Jesus comes into believers’ hearts, the veils are off! Therefore, how can you tell the saved from the lost? Fundamentally, the saved are always hungry for God’s Word and Righteousness. Functionally, this is the seventh evidence of genuine faith. It’s the Spirit of God within us that enables us to understand the things of God. That’s it – when Christ Jesus comes in, the veil comes off.
