A brother who retired as a Major General in Nigeria Army, a PhD holder and Pastor having considered himself not yet successful in life, ask about individuals definition of a successful person, and I respond as follows: Someone once said that you are satisfied and uniquely fulfilled in whatever makes you a successful personality. I share such a view, but coming with a definition could then be an assignment for people knowing you and your work to define. If I know you and your work, I can be assertive to determine success independently of what I don’t know life is throwing at you. However, I take the definition of success from life itself that what makes a success in life is the definition that life itself has attached to success! An individual is flourishing when their success makes the life around them successful. For me, I’m a success because Christ Jesus makes my life a success. Happy Christmas to you all.
