Regeneration, which is “the renewal of all things” of the New International Version remains attractive as the  “the new world” of the English Standard Version.  Geneva Bible, King James Version, and American Standard Version retained “regeneration” to understand efficacy. Whatever your stand on interpretation, the essential emphasis centre on the word of our Lord Jesus. I quote: “And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” (Matthew 19:28 KJV). That’s it!!!
