ON “MERCY YOU GOT”

Yes, the mercy of God! Have you heard that God’s mercy works outside the realm of human theology or understanding? What is your perception of that happening on the Cross? Have you considered a picture? Have a reflection on it. It’s captivating, when Jesus was on the cross there was a criminal hanging close to Him, being killed also. This man had done a great deal of wrong, carried on with a daily existence that he wasn’t glad for, however before he kicked the bucket he took a gander at Jesus and stated, “Please remember me when you come into your kingdom”. The man practically acknowledged what Jesus’ identity was. This man, in actuality, approached the Name of the Lord. Jesus declared, “This day, I will see you in paradise”. What???, that criminal, he didn’t supplicate a long delinquent’s petition, never got baptised in water, never went to church. What an expression of God’s mercy! That was essentially the loving-kindness of God for that generation. Such presentation of God’s love doesn’t generally find a way into our religious philosophy or any human theology, but found its way to our heart through the Gospel of Jesus Christ! That’s it!!!
