ON “THE GATE AND THE WAY”

ON “THE GATE AND THE WAY”

Eberhard Arnold said: “Your life will have a kind of perfection, although you will not be a saint. The perfection will consist in this: you will be very weak and you will make many mistakes; you will be awkward, for you will be poor in spirit and hunger and thirst for justice. You will not be perfect, but you will love. This is the gate and the way. There is nothing greater than love. There is nothing more true than…

ON “PARENTAL GUIDANCE”

The individuals who get parental guidance, and in fear of God, have that for which to be ceaselessly grateful. They can never get away from their capacity. That’s it!!!

ON “THE REVELATION AT BETHLEHEM”

ON “THE REVELATION AT BETHLEHEM”

Yes, it’s time for you to have the correct revelation! I mean for you to see things by yourself! “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!” When the angels went away from them back into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us.”” Luke 2:14-15 GNT

ON “COMMERCIAL SPIRIT”

ON “COMMERCIAL SPIRIT”

Meister Eckhart said: “As long as we look for some kind of pay for what we do, as long as we want to get something from God in some kind of exchange, we are like the merchants. If you want to be rid of the commercial spirit, then by all means do all you can in the way of good works, but do so solely for the praise of God. Live as if you did not exist. Expect and ask…

ON “FEAR”

Have you heard that there is no other fear? Yes, I mean, the fear of LORD! In Proverbs, we read severally: “Fear the Lord and depart from evil:” Yes, the outcome of trusting God is usually to reverence. Yes, the natural result of trusting God is the fear of God. As we trust Him, we come to realise Him better, prompting natural reverence and awe (to fear the Lord). As we trust Him, we are attracted more to God and further from…

ON “INHERIT GLORY”

ON “INHERIT GLORY”

In Proverbs 3:35; we read that; “The wise shall inherit glory:”  God has a destiny of glory for His wise, humble ones. Meaning, whatever magnification the wicked appear to have, it is just impermanent. Yes, the wealth of the wicked will always remain temporary; their legacy shall be a disgrace. However, God has a fate of glory for His savvy, humble ones. Inherit glory, I mean, acquire glory: Not have it just, however, receive it… they will have it as their legitimate, high, and unending right.  On…

ON “TEMPTATION”

ON “TEMPTATION”

Annie Dillard said: “There is always an enormous temptation in all of life to diddle around making itsy-bitsy friends and meals and journeys for itsy-bitsy years on end. It is so self-conscious, so apparently moral, simply to step aside from the gaps where the creeks and winds pour down, saying, I never merited this grace, quite rightly, and then to sulk along the rest of your days on the edge of rage. I won’t have it. The world is wilder…

ON “ASK COUNSEL”

ON “ASK COUNSEL”

Indeed, in the entirety of your ways, recognise God. Ask counsel at His mouth, focus on His brilliance, be evermore in the feeling of His presence, and light of His face. He will coordinate your ways: This is the extraordinary rule of God’s reaction towards the individuals who trust Him in the manner depicted in the past lines. When we acknowledge Him in our ways, He will direct our paths in the satisfaction of His will, into what is directly before Him and satisfying to us.

ON “IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE”

ON “IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE”

Yes, in Proverbs 3:6, it is of great wisdom to acknowledge God in every and all we do. Trusting God with everything that is in us intends to respect and acknowledge Him in all that we do. It is the decision to “welcome” God into our regular day to day existence and direct. It is to rehearse the nearness of God in the ordinary and now and again, everyday things that happen each day.

ON “THEIR NAME IS TODAY”

ON “THEIR NAME IS TODAY”

Gabriela Mistral said: “We are guilty of many errors and many faults, but our worst crime is abandoning the children, neglecting the fountain of life. Many things can wait. Children cannot. Right now their bones are being formed, their blood is being made, and their senses are being developed. To them we cannot answer, “Tomorrow.” Their name is today.”
