ON “MEASURES OF A TRUE TEACHER”

ON “MEASURES OF A TRUE TEACHER”

In John 7:14-18, in a sense, Jesus gave us two measures of a true teacher. Does the teaching come from God? That is, is it according to the revealed Word of God? Does the work give glory to God? Without these two, there are no other measures of a true teacher of the Word! Jesus is ever true!!!

1. “I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man.” 2 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord,…

ON “SECRET OF A SATISFIED LIFE”

ON “SECRET OF A SATISFIED LIFE”

What is the Christian’s secret of a satisfying life? In a nutshell, it is this: Seeing God in all our situations and, oh yes, seeing possibilities in all challenges that surround us! Always in this life, we have two choices before us. We can choose to “walk by sight”, or we can choose to “walk by faith.” To walk by sight means that we look at our circumstances and go by what we see. To walk by faith means that…

ON “THIS LIFE”

ON “THIS LIFE”

Yes, people call life satisfied or successful depending on who measures it and or who defines what it means! Honestly, the lines are fallen unto us in pleasant places, and we live in prosperity and victory every day. Hallelujah! Numbers 6:23-26: Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The…

ON “JESUS’ WORD OF BLESSINGS”

Jesus’ manifestations of gift to the poor people, underestimated and downwardly versatile, were not a danger or a compulsion procedure to compel us into a hopeless life. His call to go descending is a technique for an abundant life. It is the more straightforward burden. Assuming we long for God’s tranquillity and presence, I surmise we need to trust his strategies as well. It’s not challenging to think more cash, force, or status will give us security and a more…

ON “WORK IT”

ON “WORK IT”

Most Christians accept that God gave individuals an uncommon obligation inside creation to develop it, watch it and use it shrewdly. Yes, this is called stewardship. Man needs to work inside God’s creation innovatively and care for it: God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work and deal with it. That’s it!!!

ON “STEWARDSHIP”

ON “STEWARDSHIP”

Stewardship includes the humble, regularly ignored work of figuring out what has been broken and disposed of, envisioning how their pieces may fit together, and afterwards fixing what we can. It is enticing to become fretful with the assignment of retouching and rather supplant what has been exhausted. Our mechanical culture urges us to see the new as an answer for our issues: discard which’s messed up and purchase new; destroy old structures for further development; move away from cracked…
