In our journey through life, we are reminded of the importance of our words. As Scripture tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). Our words can uplift or tear down, to inspire or discourage. Therefore, we must seek God’s Wisdom to control our tongues and speak words of life and truth.

Just as a small spark can ignite a great forest fire, a careless word can cause irreparable damage. But when we choose our words carefully, guided by God’s Wisdom, we can speak life into the lives of others. Our words can offer hope to the hopeless, comfort to the broken-hearted, and encouragement to the weary.

Let us remember that Jesus himself is the Word made flesh, and He spoke with Authority and Compassion. As His followers, we are called to reflect His Words in our speech, bringing Light and Truth to a world in need. May we seek God’s Wisdom daily, so that our tongues may be filled with Grace and our words may be a source of blessing to all those we encounter.
