Dear brothers and sisters, today we gather to reflect on the importance of living a life of Integrity in a world that often values dishonesty and deceit. As followers of Christ, we are called to be beacons of light, shining with Integrity and Righteousness in all that we do.

Proverbs 4:25-27 instructs us, “Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.” These verses remind us of the importance of staying focused on the path of Righteousness, avoiding temptation, and standing firm in our faith.

Integrity is not just about doing what is right when others are watching; it is about living consistently with our values and beliefs, even when no one is looking. Proverbs 11:3 tells us, “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” When we choose to live with Integrity, we honour God and allow His Light to shine through us, guiding our steps and protecting us from harm.

Seeking wisdom is another key component of living a life of Integrity. Proverbs 2:10-11 states, “For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.” By seeking God’s Wisdom through prayer and studying His Word, we equip ourselves to make wise decisions and stand firm in the face of temptation.

Let us, therefore, commit ourselves to living with Integrity, seeking Wisdom, and shining with the light of God’s Love in all that we do. As we strive to walk in the path of Righteousness, may our lives be a testimony to His Goodness and may His Glory manifest in all areas of our lives! Amen.
