FAITH IN ACTION: LIVING OUT GOD’S PROMISES
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we gather to reflect on the importance of faith in action, of truly living out God’s Promises in our daily lives. It is not enough to simply believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour; we must also actively demonstrate our faith through our words and deeds.
The Apostle James reminds us in his letter that faith without works is dead. This means that our faith in Jesus Christ should be evident in the way we live our lives, in the way we treat others, and in the choices we make. It is not enough to say we believe in Jesus; we must show it through our actions.
One powerful way to demonstrate our faith in Jesus is by regularly declaring it to the world. We should not be ashamed or afraid to proclaim our belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. By boldly declaring our faith, we are not only strengthening our own convictions but also inspiring others to do the same.
Believing in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is central to our faith. It is the foundation of our hope and the assurance of our Salvation. As we live out God’s Promises in our daily lives, let us always remember the Power of Christ’s Resurrection and the victory it brings over sin and death.
Let us go forth from this gathering with renewed zeal and commitment to living out God’s Promises. May our faith in action be a beacon of light to those around us, drawing others closer to the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ. Amen.
JESUS IS LORD
