1. “Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” 2. “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” 3. “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” 4. “He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.”
