DISCERNING THE TIMES, EMBRACING GOD’S PLAN

DISCERNING THE TIMES, EMBRACING GOD’S PLAN

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In our journey of faith, it is essential to remember that you are never alone. God is always with you, guiding your steps and lighting your path. Today, let us reflect on the importance of discerning the times and knowing what we should be doing that is acceptable to God, for His glory and our ultimate winning.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1, we read, “To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” This Scripture reminds us that life is filled with different seasons, each with its own purpose and lessons. As followers of Christ, it is vital that we remain apt in discerning the times we are in. Are we in a season of planting, growing, or harvesting? Are we in a time of waiting patiently on the Lord or moving forward boldly in faith?

To discern the times, we need to cultivate a deep and intimate relationship with God through prayer and studying His Word. James 1:5 tells us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” When we seek God’s wisdom, we can understand what He wants us to do in any given season.

Being apt in discerning the times also means recognizing the gifts and talents God has entrusted to us. Each of us has a unique role to play in His divine plan. Romans 12:6-8 emphasizes, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”

Let us continuously seek God’s Guidance and remain sensitive to His Leading. By doing so, we will ensure that our actions glorify Him and align with His Will. Remember, when we are faithful to God’s Plan, we will experience true fulfillment and victory in our lives.

So, dear friends, you are not alone. God is with you every step of the way. Be discerning, be faithful, and give your best to every season He places you in. To God be the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

JESUS IS LORD
