In this homily, we reflect on the powerful message of liberation found in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The verse from Acts 2:24, “God raised [Jesus] from death, setting him free from its power, because it was impossible that death should hold him prisoner,” emphasizes the victory over death that Jesus achieved through the Resurrection. Just as Jesus was set free from death’s power, we too can find liberation in our lives through our faith in God.

God’s Power knows no bounds, and through the Resurrection of Jesus, we are reminded that we are also set free from the chains that hold us back. Let us embrace this freedom and live each day with the joy and peace that come from knowing that we are liberated by the power of God.
