HOSANNA: THE CRY OF THE GIVER AND RECEIVER OF GRACE

HOSANNA: THE CRY OF THE GIVER AND RECEIVER OF GRACE

My dear friends, the word “Hosanna” is a cry that embodies both the giver and the receiver of grace. As we reflect on the events of Palm Sunday, we are reminded of the immense grace that flows from God to us, manifested in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus, the ultimate giver of grace, willingly entered Jerusalem knowing the suffering and sacrifice that awaited Him on the cross. His journey to Calvary was a testament to the depth of His love for us, a love that knows no bounds.

In response to this great outpouring of grace, we are called to be both givers and receivers of God’s love. As we cry out “Hosanna” in praise and thanksgiving, let us also be instruments of grace in the world around us. Let us extend compassion to those in need, forgiveness to those who have wronged us, and love to all whom we encounter. Let us embody the selfless and sacrificial love of Christ, following His example of humility and service.

As we journey through this holy week, may the word “Hosanna” be a constant reminder of the grace that surrounds us and the grace that we are called to share with others. Let us be grateful for the mercy and redemption that God offers us through Jesus Christ, and let us strive to be channels of that same grace in our daily lives. May our cries of “Hosanna” resound with sincerity and devotion, as we seek to live out the message of salvation and love that Jesus brought to the world.
