FAITH OVER FEAR: TRUSTING IN GOD’S PROTECTION
In times of trouble and uncertainty, it is natural to feel afraid and vulnerable. But as believers, we are called to trust in God’s protection and rely on His saving grace. The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 91:1-2, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'”
When we place our faith in God, we can rest assured that nothing can hurt us when He decides to save us. In Isaiah 41:10, God promises, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” God’s love and protection are constant, unwavering, and unfailing.
Let us remember the words of Romans 8:31, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” With God on our side, we can face any challenge or adversity with confidence, knowing that His saving power is at work in our lives. Trust in Him, have faith in His promises and rest secure in His protection.
