THE POWER OF LOVE: BEYOND RELIGIOUS PRACTICES
Here it’s: loving God and Neighbours. In Mark 12:30-31, in this Gospel, Jesus reminds us of the greatest commandment: to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbour as ourselves. This is the core of our Christian faith, the foundation of all other commandments. We can do many things in the name of God, we can participate in religious activities, and we can strive to be knowledgeable about our faith, but if we don’t have love, all our efforts are in vain. Love gives purpose and meaning to everything we do. It’s not just an action, but an attitude of the heart. It prompts us to care for others, to forgive, and to show compassion. Let us reflect on how we can love God and our neighbours more deeply in our daily lives. That’s it!!!
