SCRIPTURAL DECLARATION – WEEK 49 ENDING 09/12/2023

SCRIPTURAL DECLARATION – WEEK 49 ENDING 09/12/2023

Be motivated to read loudly over your life and family the following Scriptures:

1. Psalm 80:2-3, 15-19; Psalms 145:4; Isaiah 9:6; Romans 5:5; 1 Peter 3:15.
“Stir up your might, and come to save us! Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved! the stock which your right hand planted. They have burned it with fire, they have cut it down; may they perish at the rebuke of your countenance! One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

2. Psalm 112; Ephesians 1:17-19.
“Hallelujah! Blessed man, blessed woman, who fear God, Who cherish and relish his commandments, Their children robust on the earth, And the homes of the upright—how blessed! Their houses brim with wealth And a generosity that never runs dry. Sunrise breaks through the darkness for good people—God’s grace and mercy and justice! The good person is generous and lends lavishly; No shuffling or stumbling around for this one, But a sterling and solid and lasting reputation. Unfazed by rumor and gossip, Heart ready, trusting in God, Spirit firm, unperturbed, Ever blessed, relaxed among enemies, They lavish gifts on the poor—A generosity that goes on, and on, and on. An honored life! A beautiful life! Someone wicked takes one look and rages, Blusters away but ends up speechless. There’s nothing to the dreams of the wicked. Nothing. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. “.

3. Psalm 149; Luke 10:21-24; Romans 16:19-20, 25-27.
“Hallelujah! Yes, praise the Lord! Sing him a new song. Sing his praises, all his people. O Israel, rejoice in your Maker. O people of Jerusalem, exult in your King. Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by drums and lyre. For Jehovah enjoys his people; he will save the humble. Let his people rejoice in this honor. Let them sing for joy as they lie upon their beds. Adore him, O his people! And take a double-edged sword to execute his punishment upon the nations. Bind their kings and leaders with iron chains, and execute their sentences. He is the glory of his people. Hallelujah! Praise him! All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Then turning to the disciples he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see what you see! But everyone knows that you are obedient to the Lord. This makes me very happy. I want you to be wise in doing right and to stay innocent of any wrong. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Now all glory to God, who is able to make you strong, just as my Good News says. This message about Jesus Christ has revealed his plan for you Gentiles, a plan kept secret from the beginning of time. But now as the prophets foretold and as the eternal God has commanded, this message is made known to all Gentiles everywhere, so that they too might believe and obey him. All glory to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, forever. Amen.

4. Psalms 31:1-6; John 5:16-40.
“In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me. Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength. Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.

“So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

“Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.

“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

“If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true. There is another who testifies in my favor, and I know that his testimony about me is true.

“You have sent to John and he has testified to the truth. Not that I accept human testimony; but I mention it that you may be saved. John was a lamp that burned and gave light, and you chose for a time to enjoy his light.

“I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish—the very works that I am doing—testify that the Father has sent me. And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent. You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.”

5. Psalms 23:1-6; Proverbs 17:22-28; John 4:14, 23, 39, 41& 50.
“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. If you are cheerful, you feel good; if you are sad, you hurt all over. Crooks accept secret bribes to keep justice from being done. Anyone with wisdom knows what makes good sense, but fools can never make up their minds. Foolish children bring sorrow and pain to their parents. It isn’t fair to punish the innocent and those who do right. It makes a lot of sense to be a person of few words and to stay calm. Even fools seem smart when they are quiet.”

“But no one who drinks the water I give will ever be thirsty again. The water I give will become in that person a flowing fountain that gives eternal life. But a time is coming, and it is already here! Even now the true worshipers are being led by the Spirit to worship the Father according to the truth. These are the ones the Father is seeking to worship him. A lot of Samaritans in that town put their faith in Jesus because the woman had said, “This man told me everything I have ever done. Many more Samaritans put their faith in Jesus because of what they heard him say. Jesus then said, “Your son will live. Go on home to him.” The man believed Jesus and started back home.”

6. Psalm 26:1-7; Matthew 6:28, 32, 33-34; 16:16, 24-26; 17:20; Ephesians 1:3-6, 11-12.
“Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD: That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone wants to come with me, he must forget self, carry his cross, and follow me. For whoever wants to save his own life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Will people gain anything if they win the whole world but lose their life? Of course not! There is nothing they can give to regain their life. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.”

7. Psalm 32:11; Jeremiah 31:13,33,34,35;  33:2-3,8,11,15,16; Romans 12:12; Philippians 4:4.
“Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD Almighty is his name:

“This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me. The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. In those days and at that time I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line; he will do what is just and right in the land. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. This is the name by which it will be called: The LORD Our Righteous Savior. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.

We now claim as follows:

May we fear You, Lord, and find great delight in Your commands. May our children be mighty and blessed. May light dawn for us in whatever darkness we face. May we be generous and lend freely. May we conduct our affairs with justice.

May You, Lord, give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that we may know You better. May the eyes of our hearts be enlightened so that we may know the hope to which You have called us. May we know the riches of Your glorious inheritance. May we know Your incomparably great power for those who believe. May we believe Your Words and enjoy the fruits of obedience always.

May we praise the Lord and sing a new song to You, Lord. May we rejoice in You, Lord, our Maker. May we be glad in You, our King. May we know that You delight us. May we be humble and who is crowned with Your salvation. May we rejoice in the honour of being known by You, God.

May we be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil. May we know and believe that You, God of peace, will soon crush Satan. May Your grace, Lord Jesus, be with us all.  May we know that You are the only wise God. To You be glory forever through Jesus Christ!

May we take refuge in You, O Lord. May we never be put to shame. Deliver us in Your righteousness. Lord, turn Your ear to us. Come quickly to us and rescue us. Be our rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save us. Since You, God, are our rock and fortress, for the sake of Your Name lead and guide us,  O Lord! May we commit our spirit into Your hands, God. Redeem us, O Lord, the God of truth. May we trust in You, Lord.

May we be fully protected, and restored and enjoy the best of where we are. May we honour You, Jesus, just as we honour the Father. May we hear Your word, Jesus, and believe Him who sent You, so that we may have eternal life and not be condemned. May we cross over from death to life. May we believe in You, Jesus, the One that God the Father has sent. May we come to You, the bread of life, that we may never go hungry, and believe in You that we may never be thirsty. May we look to You, Jesus, and believe in You so that we may have eternal life and be raised by You on the last day.

May we have a cheerful heart. May we be people of knowledge who use words with restraint. May we be a person of understanding who is even-tempered. May we use discernment in knowing when to be silent and when to hold our tongue!

May we drink the water You give us, Jesus, that we may never thirst and that it will become to us a spring of water welling up to eternal life. May we be true worshiper who worships You, Father, in spirit and truth; the kind of worshiper that You seek. Just as many Samaritans believed in You because of one woman’s testimony, may many people believe in You as a result of our testimony. May we speak Your word so that many people might become believers. May we take You at Your word, Jesus.

May we lead a blameless life. May we trust in You, Lord, without wavering. Test us and try us. Examine our heart and mind. May Your love, Lord, be ever before us, and may we walk continually in Your truth. May we proclaim aloud Your praise and tell of all Your wonderful deeds.

May we not worry about clothes. Help us to see how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labour or spin, yet not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. Remind us that if that is how You clothe the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, You will also clothe us,  Lord. May we know that You, Heavenly Father, know that we need food and clothing. May we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and know that all these things will be given to us as well. Help us not to worry about tomorrow. Remind us that tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

May we believe and confess of You, Jesus, as Peter did, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  May we come after You, Jesus. May we deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow You. May we know that whoever wants to save his or her life will lose it, but whoever loses his or her life for You, Jesus, will find it. May we be willing to lose our lives for You, Jesus. May we never gain the whole world yet forfeit our souls. May we have faith as small as a mustard seed and know that nothing will be impossible for us. May we be holy and blameless before You, forever,  O Lord!

May we be glad and rejoice in You Lord, our Righteousness.  Our rejoicing shall know no bounds;  it shall be forever,  O Lord! Make us shout for joy, O Lord. May we be upright in heart forever.

Just as You promised the Israelites, Lord, turn our mourning into gladness. Give us comfort and joy instead of sorrow. Just as You promised in Your covenant with the Israelites, Lord, put Your law in our minds and write it on our hearts. Be our God, and we will be Your children. May we truly know You, Lord. Lord, You appoint the sun to shine by day, decree the moon and the stars to shine by night, stir up the sea so that its waves roar — the Lord Almighty is Your name. May we come to know You intimately as the Lord Almighty.

May we call to You, Lord, so that You will answer us and tell us great and unsearchable things that we do not know. Lord, cleanse us from all the sins we have committed against You and forgive all our sins of rebellion against You. May we give thanks to You, Lord Almighty, for You are good; Your love endures forever. Thank You, Lord, for sending Jesus,  the righteous Branch. May we come to know You intimately as the Lord, our Righteousness.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, WE RECEIVE ANSWERS TO ALL OUR PRAYERS. AMEN.
