AGAINST ALL HOPE

AGAINST ALL HOPE

When Abraham was 75 years old, God promised him he would have a son, but Abraham didn’t see the baby boy born until he was 100. Despite numerous opportunities to doubt, Abraham persevered in faith. He focused on how big God is rather than how big the problem was in the face of impossible circumstances. You might think there’s no reason to believe in a God-given promise. It is not possible in the natural, but we serve a supernatural God. The Scripture says: “Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations.” (Romans 4:18, NIV). You are paving the way for God to do extraordinary things if you keep believing. Some commitments require time. It’s easy to lose enthusiasm and start thinking lies about how big the problem is while you wait. You must maintain your optimism. You are unmoved by what is not taking place. What God promised is coming, as you know. You don’t take your circumstances into account; You think about God. Keep on believing. That’s it!!!
