ON “THESE FISHERMEN”

ON “THESE FISHERMEN”

C.H. Spurgeon once said, “To be a fisherman, a man must expect disappointments; he must often cast in the net and bring up nothing but weeds.” Yes, these fishermen, the minister of Christ, must reckon upon being disappointed. They must not be weary in well-doing for all their disappointments but must in faith, continue in prayer and labour, expecting that at the end, they shall receive the reward. Here it is, “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9, NLT). That’s it!!!
