ON “CRY TO GOD”

ON “CRY TO GOD”

St. Benedict once reflected on Psalm 57:2, and he declared as follows: “Gracious and holy Father, give me the wisdom to perceive You; intelligence to fathom You; patience to wait for You; eyes to behold You; a heart to meditate upon You; and a life to proclaim You, through the power of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, our Lord.” What a cry to God for wisdom, intelligence, patience, humble heart, gift and fruit of the Holy Spirit? In all this, I humbly thank God for the opportunity to participate entirely in such a cry! You are also a part of such a cry – Cry to God! That’s it!!!
