Can you see why we must take a step back from trying to heal our issues without God and ask for His divine help? As an individual, I like reading Jeremiah 17:14 for reasons that include numerous human efforts to recover. Yes, we have come to ourselves numerously for healing. I mean, in many different ways, we work compassionately outside God’s help to heal, and it often doesn’t last or work. We feel a void within ourselves, and we try so many things to fill it, but it is never the right fit. Whatever it seems to fill our void temporarily, it never lasts. However, whenever we call God to heal us, He does heal us because He is all-knowing; He knows what will fill our void permanently and accurately. He knows how to heal, supply, and save us, and His way lasts perpetually for our harvest of answered prayers. That’s it!!!
