ON “IT IS SIGN FOLLOWING”

The event at the city of Jericho remains notably exemplary for many reasons. The city itself was surrounded by a huge stone wall so thick that chariots could ride on top. It was the last city that stood between the people of Israel and the Promised Land. When you take a good look at the event, God told Joshua to have the people march around the walls once a day for six days and seven times on the seventh day (Joshua 6:4, NLT). Undoubtedly, It would have been easier to believe, while they were walking, they saw a little hole, even a bit of crack in the wall or a shift in the foundation, but nothing day after day. They didn’t understand it but just kept doing the right thing, and the little time around, the walls came tumbling down. You don’t need any sign to believe God; when you accept His Words, the signs shall follow. It’s the sign following, and never shall it be seeing is believing! That’s it!!!
