ON “PRAYERFULLY THANKFUL”

As believers who are to develop daily habits of prayers! That’s, making prayers your attitude, your habits and ceaseless, for that matter. You will soon discover two things about the prayerful. Paul mentions two crucial aspects of prayers: be watchful in prayer and make your prayer thankful. Making your prayers grateful means you will enjoy the harvest of answered prayers. Yes,  it carries the idea of standing guard or staying awake at night to ensure a safe location. Prayer demands ongoing attention, just like the guard at a city gate. In practical terms, this means prayer is not supposed to be a careless, casual, or frivolous act. We should pray with a specific purpose and with deliberate intent. Prayer should be thankful. As a believer, you have an unthinkable connection with thanksgiving (Colossians 2:7), with the call that your prayers must be packed with thanking God; this signifies enormous benefit of prayer as it aligns our will with God’s will, which leads to greater understanding and a greater sense of gratitude. That’s it!!!
