ON “THE INDESCRIBABLE GIFT”

Have you at any point been given a gift that was actually what the other individual needed? An ideal gift that would give pleasure to the extraordinary individual who opened it? I love what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 9:15. After discussing the delight and gift of giving, Paul was overpowered at the possibility of all that God has given us. So rather than attempting to place everything in words, he just finished with, “Thanks be to God for His incredible gift!” (self-paraphrased). Similarly, we must always say that “Thanks to God for His Son — a gift indescribably magnificent!” Jesus is God’s perfect, indescribable gift; Yes, Jesus is God’s perfection, unspeakable gift. And interestingly, in addition to the fact that we are ready to get this gift, yet we can impart it to other people. That is what’s going on with Christmas. I trust that you will impart the endowment of Jesus to others today and consider cooperating with us to convey the endowment of salvation in Christ to individuals all over the planet through a successful proliferation of the Gospel.
