Yes, God owns our life in His hands, and His Spirit leads us. The silent seasons must come for the abundant harvesting to flourish. The testing time must surely come when we do not always understand where the Holy Spirit is taking us. We can only trust the Holy Spirit to take us through the desert into something bigger for our future in Christ Jesus. You mighty be in a time of challenge today, but always remember; your harvest seasons are closer now than ever. There are experiences and encounters where ‘silence’ is the only correct and inspiring solution. That’s the desert of life! We must all be led to the desert at a point in life. There will be times when God takes us into a silent season, into things we do not understand, a door closes, a person walks away, a contract is lost. You could be down on yourself thinking, “What did I do wrong, God? I was honouring You.” How do you know that is not the Spirit leading you there? Resign from being dissuaded over what did not work out. Keep up in the faith. There’s something bigger that God has in your future. He’s leading you to the fullness of what He has in store.
