2 “Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.”

3 “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

4 “Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
