ON “ADULTERY”

Have you not heard that if the context of our daily living is not based on the truth and righteousness, it is plain adultery? In John 8:6, the accusers of the woman accused of cheating cared nothing for true justice, for it was evident that they carefully arranged both the adulterous act and her arrest. They claimed that this woman was caught in adultery, in the very front – yet they did not bring the guilty man before Jesus. Is it not possible that the man was one of them? And they used the woman as a weapon or pawn in their conflict against Jesus. Acting out the context of Christ’s truth and righteousness is fundamentally adultery. That’s it!!!
