ON “OF ONE ESSENCE”

Upon the arrival of the introduction of the congregation at Pentecost, as depicted in the Book of Acts, individuals of numerous ethnicities could convey across language hindrances yet still in their local tongues. They were of one essence and combined to share everything in like manner so that all were focused on, in an intentional local area not subject to the state. The open ground for the local neighborhoods may lie further even than shared identity or language.
