2 “But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

3 “He leads the humble in what is right and teaches the humble his way. Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct, let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.”

4 “Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all people who were on the face of the earth. But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.”
