ON “IN NEED OF EXTRA STRENGTH”

Daily, there is work to do that requires extra effort! Notwithstanding the strain of errands past our strength, we should go inwards to the wellspring of inner stamina. If we measure our human strength against the work we see promptly ahead, we will feel sad, and if we tackle it in that strength, we will be disappointed and perhaps fall into slowness or misery. There could be no better exercise we can learn than our impediments if this is joined by the renunciation of our effort and dependence on the strength of God. The wheel of the locked area will fly separated except if it is spoked to the middle. We are setting ourselves in peril at whatever point we neglect to perceive this, at whatever point we go hurrying forward without setting aside an effort to turn internal. Remember, “If you fail under pressure, your strength is too small.” (Proverbs 24:10, NLT).
