When our Lord Jesus asked the Samaritan woman in John 4 – “Give Me a drink:” Could this mean HE was unaware what to do? No, but HE is not unaware that the way to gain a soul is often to ask a service of it. Some would imagine that God is most glorified when human participation is most excluded. Yet Jesus did not diminish His glory one bit by asking for the help and cooperation of the Samaritan woman. As it worked toward accomplishing the divine purpose, the Father and the Son were most glorified in this display of love and goodness to the woman. Jesus needs your full service of cooperation to make things happen in this world. Always be at God’s service is the call to you! That’s it!!!
