How best to identify the humble? Have we not heard that the humble will dress modestly, pray faithfully, think wisely, worship religiously, act kindly, smile honestly, speak truthfully, give cheerfully, and love sincerely? Is there a better way to describe the humble? Can we find another who is as humble as Jesus, the man? I remind you of the humility of Jesus Christ, I mean, Jesus being humble: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9, ESV).
