ON “COMMUNITY”
Yes, the coming together of God’s people to serve a divine purpose makes the community as encouragement. Indeed, to belong to a local church allows you to associate with individuals at various phases of their faith venture—and to bear their burdens close by them (Galatians 6:2). That is wonderful because everybody has something to instruct and to learn. Indeed, it establishes the ideal climate to be a Barnabas (companion), seeks after a Paul (instructor), or train a Timothy (understudy). It comes down to lifting each other, gaining from each other, and being the companion every one of us needs. That is the way Hebrews portrays local area: “Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good. Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.” Hebrews 10:24-25 GNT
