ON “THE STRENGTH OF LOVE”

ON “THE STRENGTH OF LOVE”

Have you not heard that there is indeed the Balm in Gilead? Is the Balm of Gilead not closely linked to spiritual medicine availability that can heal Israel and other nations under God (Jeremiah 8:22)? Permit me to say that very most recently kindly, I’ve been giving more profound thoughts to seeing the Balm of Gilead as the love of God to heal the nations of the world. I’m not into typology here, please! Love flies, runs, jumps for delight; it is free and over the top. Love gives just for all, resting in One who is most elevated over all things, from whom each great streams and continues. Love doesn’t respect the endowments; however, goes to the Giver of every single great blessing. Love knows no restrictions; however, vigorously rises above all limits. Love feels no weight, fails to assess work, endeavors things past its solidarity; love considers nothing to be inconceivable, for it feels ready to accomplish all things. Love in this way does extraordinary things; it is bizarre and successful; while he who needs love swoons and comes up short. Are you there?
