In Proverbs 21:3 righteousness and justice remain of high preference to sacrifice.

Indeed, how we treat individuals – what may be called our horizontal relationship – is fundamental to God. The Lord needs us to do righteousness and justice in this world. Animal sacrifice was an approach to stroll in right relationship with God –what may be called our vertical relationship. God here says that how we treat others is a higher priority than how we perform strict services such as sacrifice. Frankly, this was reality missed by the minister and the Levite in Jesus’ account of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-36). That’s it!!!
