ON “LOVE COVERS ALL SINS.”

ON “LOVE COVERS ALL SINS.”

Apostle Peter cited this in 1 Peter 4:8. We could state this is valid in two senses, in that love covers the wrongdoings of others, and that affection covers the transgressions of the person who loves. Hatred brings inconvenience, but love brings healing. Love pacifies; eliminates aggravations; puts the best development on everything; and pours water, not oil, upon the flame. Love covers; love ignores; love excuses quickly; love overlooks. Brimming with authenticity and imaginativeness, it puts the best development on dicey issues and doesn’t uncover the problems of a sibling. Gracious, let us put on the Lord Jesus in his soul of abstaining, conciliatory love, and let us excuse as Christ has pardoned us.
