As a child of God, you are called to be a treasurer of His wisdom. Yes, the Proverbs’ “Accept” meaning “receive.”  It’s synonymous to ‘store up’ [treasure], a figure that infers that most instructing can’t be utilised quickly yet that some time will pass before training makes the rightful impact. Yes, education could take some time to manifest in benefits. “Treasure my commands within you” (Proverbs 2:1): “God’s aim is that you and I make His wisdom our own. We are to take in it from the Bible. No one is to know it in our stead. Pastors are charged by God to help us to develop. However, we should make His Word ours in order to keep it ‘with’ us.
