ON “ANSWERED PRAYERS”
The ancient prayerfully individuals submitted to the character of God to shape their prayers. By His faithfulness and righteousness, God usually answers prayers! For instance, David knew something of the character and nature of God, and this shaped his prayer life. In Psalm 143, David could never ask God to be unfaithful or unrighteous. Yet he could ask God to act according to His character, and David did boldly make his request on that basis.
Remember, God in His righteousness makes things going on through His people. Indeed, even the sterner characters of God are upon the side of the individual who submissively trusts, and transforms his or her trust into prayers. God answers prayers, always! That’s it!!!
