Great contrast exists considerably in Proverbs. In 10:20, the outcome of the tongue of the righteous was not in comparison with the tongue but with the heart of the wicked. It provides essentially that the tongue does not act unaided of the heart (Matthew 12:34). The tongue is the crucial portal of the heart. Unspeakably, the heart is such a depraved element of man, core to him, to such an extent that education, exposure and civility are insufficient to fix it. It takes a heart-healing that comes through God to fix the issue of the heart. That’s it!!!
