ON “LABOURING”

ON “LABOURING”

Recall that in Psalm 127, the Psalmist does not offer the builder stop working or laboring, nor propose that guardians or watchmen should disregard their obligation, nor that men should show their trust in God by sitting idle: nay, he admonishes that they will do all that they can do. Afterward, he precludes their fixing their faith, I mean, trust, in what they have done, and guarantees them that all human exertion will be futile except if the Creator advances His power in their projects. That’s it!!!
