Yes, understanding the meaning of revival is an element of this calling! Praying for revival will undoubtedly play a part. Also, we can benefit from Boice’s comment on revival that: “When the people of God cease thinking about themselves so much and begin thinking about the state of things around them, particularly our cities and those who are suffering in them, then God may indeed hear our prayers and send a revival.”  That’s it!!!
