Yes, Christ perfected God’s eternal plan of Salvation through suffering. He was obedient to the death, even the death of the cross, and through the hardest, cruelty, a sacrificial journey that He made to the cross. It was a suffering indescribable and beyond the touch and power of human thought to discern. Christ perfected a way by which we could be saved. Indeed, when He bore our sin on the cross, the unchanging law of God was in action, and He suffered separation from God. Simply put in Hebrews 5:9; Christ is the Author of Eternal Salvation.
