We can just live the successions we wish to see; we can’t think our approach to humankind. All of us, and each gathering with which we live and work, must turn into the model of the period which we want to make.… All of us are challenged – some true, some intellectually, some inwardly. We should thusly endeavour agreeably to make the new world. There is no time left for pulverization, for scorn, and for outrage. We should manufacture – in trust, and in happiness, and in the festivity.
