Historically, it was a move from middle age to the modern era. Simply put, if the world has not moved toward its end, it has arrived at a significant watershed ever, equivalent in significance to the abandonment of the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. It will request from us a profound burst; we will need to ascend to another tallness of vision, to another degree of life where our physical nature won’t be reviled as in the Middle Ages, yet significantly and more critically, our otherworldly being won’t be stomped on upon as in the Modern Era.
