ON “POUR OUT ONE’S HEART

To open up to someone else and disclose to them your contemplations and sentiments, frequently inconveniences or distresses. In the Bible, God spills out His anger or His fierceness and later spills out His Spirit on His people. Consequently, God’s kin pours out the blood of the sacrifice or they spill out their souls in contrition. “Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.” Psalm 62:8 KJV see also Lamentations 2:19
